Rescuing Westies is a complex business. There are many tasks to be done to accomplish the transfer of a dog from a bad situation to loving care that will last a lifetime. Many Westie owners, inspired by the love of the breed, would like to help even though their home is filled to its capacity with pets. There are many ways that you can help. You can:

• Adopt a rescued Westie
• Foster a rescued Westie
• Donate funds to help save the life of a Westie
• Donate talents to produce materials to get the word out
• Donate time to help bath and treat rescued dogs, man booths at events, etc.
• Offer transportation to move the dog where he needs to go
• Report a Westie needing help

To Begin the Adoption Procedure
First be sure to read the Frequently Asked Rescue Questions to make sure you are aware of the issues effecting your decision.. If you are sure that you are ready to proceed, fill out an Adoption Application which will automatically be emailed to the rescue contact for your area. If you prefer to print out the form and mail it, please send the completed form to the address below and Westie Rescue USA will forward your application to the rescuer in your area.

To Donate Funds to Westie Rescue
To make your tax-deductible donation online with a credit card, you may use the Secure Online Form. If you wish to donate through the mail, print out a copy of the Donation Form, complete it, enclose your check, and mail it to Westie Rescue of the Mid-Atlantic States at the above address. Your donation will be forwarded to the rescue organization that covers your area. Filling out the form allows you to specify how your donation will be used and gives us the information we need to send you proper thanks and updates on rescue news and Westie Events.

Donating Talents, Time and Transportation
Please fill out a Volunteer Form which will be automatically send to the rescue contact in your area. The rescue organization's administrator will be in touch to hook you up to our network.
